Video Editing Laptops Under 1 Lakh

Portability is the most essential thing right now and because of that, we’re seeing that Laptop manufacturers are focusing more on the performance side of things.

So if you wanted to buy the best gaming laptops under l lakh then I have already written an in-depth article about it, so today, let’s take look at some of the best Video Editing Laptops Under 1 Lakh.

I will update this post from time to time, but if you want live deals or want to chat with me, you can follow topbestinINDIA on Telegram for live deals. Here is the Telegram discussion Group. See you there…

Apple MacBook Air M1

Apple MacBook Air 2020

You already know that Apple MacBook Air M1 will be added to this list because for video editing this is the by far best laptop you can consider for under 1 Lakh.

I have been using Apple MacBook Air M1 for about a year and I mostly use Final Cut Pro to edit videos for BookiesTalk, I usually shoot in 1080p@50fps, also I use about 5 to 6 layers in Final Cut Pro.

I have also used Adobe Premiere Pro and this too work smoothly without any problem but if you want the best out of this laptop then I would recommend you to use Final Cut Pro for a better editing experience.

By the way, if you’re a heavy editor then you can also consider the Macbook Air M1 Pro because it has Fan which will help a lot while doing heavy work.

When I was buying Macbook M1, I did consider the M2 Pro but then my work doesn’t need that extra power because I don’t edit videos in 4k. If I plan to edit in the 4k then I would go with Mac Studio or a newer Mac.

If you didn’t know, the Macbook M1 comes with a 13-inches display, and it’s powered by an Apple-owned M1 chipset. By the way, I’m really getting about 10 hours of battery life on normal usage but if I edit videos then the battery does down a bit.

One more thing, I bought a 16GB Ram + 256GB storage variant. For more storage, I’m using Samsung T7 1TB SSD which works great.

Now, if you don’t like Macbooks then let’s go with Windows.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14

ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 is powered by AMD Ryzen 7 5800HS Processor, Up to 4.3 GHz Max Boost Speed, and a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GDDR6 4GB graphic card.

It comes with 8GB of Ram which is expandable up to 24GB while there is 512GB SSD storage which again is expandable up to 1TB.

There is also a 14-inches FHD+ 144hz display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and this is IPS Anti-Glare Panel.

Overall, ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 good option, it has lots of good things like a 144Hz refresh rate and even a dedicated GPU which will help a lot while rendering video while AMD Ryzen 7 5800HS Processor will provide a good editing experience.

Still, if you’re Macbooks then Apple MacBook Air M1 is an overall better option for video editing.

ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 (2021)

ASUS ZenBook Duo 14

One of the best things about Windows is that you get an unlimited choice which is a good thing as well as a bad thing too, depending on how you look at it.

ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 had a dual display which will help you a lot while editing videos or even Photos. It has a 14-inches FHD+ touch screen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 while the additional display has a 1920 x 515-pixel resolution.

Its beats a laptop for multitasking,

For example, if you’re editing videos then you can place color gradient on the addition display and lawyers on the main panel. You can also play around with the addition panel as you like.

The ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 (2021) is 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7, with Up to 4.2 GHz Turbo Boost Speed and Intel Iris X Graphics.

Yes, the GPU is not that powerful but it will get the job done.

In the end, as I have said Windows Laptops have an unlimited choice, so you have to choose, what’s bad and what’s good.

HP Pavilion 14

HP Pavilion 14 Image

HP Pavilion 14 comes with a 15.6-inches FHD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and this is IPS Anti-Glare Panel.

It’s powered by 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 up to 4.7 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology and Intel Iris Xe Graphics. The laptop comes with Windows 10 Home which is upgradeable to Windows 11 Home for Free.

The 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 is a powerful processor that will give your good performance while editing videos but Intel Iris Xe Graphics are kind of okay GPS.

The laptop looks great too while it has Dolby Atmos support and because of that, the audio quality is great as HP has added good speakers too.

Overall, considering the price tag, this is not the best laptop but again, it’s also not the worst laptop available.

Lenovo Legion 5 AMD Ryzen 7 5800H

Lenovo Legion 5 AMD Ryzen 7 5800H

We already know that I have recently covered the best Gaming laptops under 1 Lakh and out of 5 lists, the Lenovo Legion 5 AMD Ryzen 7 5800H was the best option, so I had to add this here.

The laptop has RTX 3050 graphic card which will ensure a smooth gaming experience along with the 5th Gen AMD Ryzen 7-5800H processor.

Now, of course, the laptop has a powerful GPU and CPU, so if you want to edit videos on Adobe Premiere Pro then you will be able to do it without any problem.

The 15.60-inches display is Dolby Vision Certified, so you will get the best viewing angles whether you want o play games or watch movies.

Overall, the laptop has everything good except the port placement, I don’t know about you but I don’t like a port on the back side, I prefer it on either the right or left side.

Also, the price of Lenovo Legion 5 AMD Ryzen 7 5800H is on the higher side because of the chipset shortage. So if you can wait for some time then do wait otherwise, still, it’s not a bad option to consider for gaming as well as for Video Editing too.

Verdict

You already know my choice,

The Apple Macbook M1 is the best laptop available under 1 Lakh for Video editing. Now if you ask for me Windows laptop then you choose any other mentioned laptop, all of them are good.

Now, if I have to choose then I would go with either ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 or Lenovo Legion 5 AMD Ryzen 7 5800H.

Still, I have questions, do let me know in the comment box, see you there.
