5 Best Laptops Under 1 Lakh (Rs 100000) in India (Updated)
When your budget is 1 Lakh, you have tons of options from gaming to notebooks to casual laptops, so today, I’m about to share with your some of the best laptops which are available under Rs 100000 in India.
One thing to note here, when you buy a Gaming laptop, you won’t get the best battery life, on the other hand, a notebook laptop gives way better battery life, so choose the laptop that you need or your work requires.

I don’t play many games and even If I want to play games, I always use PS5 that’s the reason I bought the Apple MacBook Air (2020) in 2021, and by far, it’s working great, with no issue with performance or even battery life.
We all know, that Macbooks are not built for gaming, they are meant to use for productivity whether it’s editing videos or managing tasks, or anything else except gaming.
Also, if you’re like me, who needs a long-lasting battery then there is no better option than Macbook Air 2020. I mean, you can buy Macbook Pro but I think, the Macbook Air is good enough for today to day use.
Apple has claimed that the battery will last for 18 hours but it won’t last that long, expect the battery life to be around 14 to 15 hours, depending on how you use it.

The Macbook Air 2020 is powered by the Apple M1 chipset which is by far the best chipset you can get for 84k in India.
It comes with a 13.3-inches retina display, 8GB RAM + 256GB SSD storage (Base Variant), Backlit Keyboard, FaceTime HD Camera, Touch ID, and macOS 10.14 Mojave, and it’s powered by Apple M1 Chipset.
Talking about myself, I usually edit 1080p@60fps videos on Final Cut Pro, and its works like butter, with no lags or frame drops. The chipset can even edit 4k videos too…
By the way, I don’t own any other Apple product except Macbook and I bought the Macbook Air 2020 because of the Video Editing and battery life.
Overall, if your end goal is to play games then stay away from Macbook Air 2022 and consider the Windows laptop but if you want a Laptop for Video Editing or anything else except gaming then there is no better option than the Macbook Air 2020 under Rs 100000 in India.

I get it if you don’t want to buy Macbook and that’s why I have added the Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 but this is a bit pricey compared to Macbook Air 2022.
Microsoft was promised 19 hours of battery life and again, it won’t last that long, so expect the battery life between 13 to 15 hours, depending on how you use it. The keyboard is also comfortable to use.
It has a 13.5-inches touchscreen display with a resolution of 2256 x 1504 Pixels while it’s coupled with 8GB RAM + 256GB SSD Storage.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 is powered by AMD Ryzen 5 4680U processor and AMD Radeon Graphics while it runs on Windows 10 which is upgradable to Windows 11 for free of cost.

Here, don’t worry about the performance, the processor is powerful enough to handle almost all the software but again, this is not built for gaming.
Also, you can edit videos on this laptop but don’t expect to edit 4k videos on software like Adobe Premiere Pro because the laptop doesn’t have a powerful GPU.
As this is a Microsoft product, it’s pricey but it also offers a specific feature that might attract some users.
Overall, if you want Windows Laptop with long-lasting battery life and you don’t do very heavy video editing then this is the best Windows laptop you can buy for under Rs 100000 but if you want a Gaming laptop then stay away from the Microsoft Surface Laptop 4.

ASUS TUF F15 and even HP Pavilion 15-ec2146AX Gaming Laptop will give you the same gaming experience, the only thing you have to choose is its design and brand, the rest is almost the same.
Now, if I had to buy a gaming laptop then I would go with HP Pavilion 15-ec2146AX Gaming Laptop because of its design, I mean, it looks more modern compared to ASUS TUF F15.
HP Pavilion 15-ec2146AX Gaming Laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor and NVIDIA RTX 3050 Graphics card while it runs on Windows 10 Home which is upgradable to Windows 11 Home for free of cost.

Also, as I have said, a gaming laptop won’t provide long-lasting battery life and the same can be said for this laptop too.
Overall, whether you wanted a laptop for gaming or video editing, the HP Pavilion 15-ec2146AX Gaming Laptop is powerful enough to handle almost everything but if you wanted long-lasting battery life then again, you can consider the Macbook Air 2022.

This is by far the best gaming laptop you can buy for under 1 Lakh but it’s out of stock on most of the e-commerce websites, so if you can get ASUS ROG Strix G15 Gaming Laptop in the local market then go for it but if you can’t get then consider any of mention gaming laptop.
The ASUS ROG Strix G15 Gaming Laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor and NVIDIA RTX 3050 Graphics card while it runs on Windows 10 which is upgradable to Windows 11 for free of cost.
Again, I don’t have to say much about the graphic card, it’s the best and it will give you the best gaming experience. The laptop comes with a 15.6-inches 144Hz panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 Pixels.
It also has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage, and both the RAM and storage are upgradeable.
Overall, if you’re looking for a gaming laptop then the ASUS ROG Strix G15 Gaming Laptop is also a good option.
By the way, I would have chosen the ASUS ROG Strix G15 Gaming Laptop over HP Pavilion 15-ec2146AX Gaming Laptop but the thing is, the ROG Strix G15 is not available for a long time and that’s the reason I chose the HP Pavilion.
Verdict
It all depends on what you’re looking for, if you ask me, I would go with Macbook Air 2020 because I want a laptop for video editing that also provides long-lasting battery life but if you want a gaming laptop then you can also consider the HP Pavilion 15-ec2146AX Gaming Laptop or any other mentioned gaming laptop.
