As of now, Xiaomi Pad 5 is one of the best options available under Rs 30000 in India. The tab is powered by the Snapdragon 860 processor which is powerful enough to handle almost all the mobile games and it won’t give you any kind of problem in day-to-day life.

There is also an 8720mAh battery which will last for days but if you play lots of games or use a tablet for hours every day then expect the battery to last for a day.

It also supports 33W fast charging but Xiaomi has only supplied the 18W charger in the box which means, to get fast charging, you have to buy a new 33W charger or use whatever you have at home.

The Xiaomi Tab 5 comes with a 10.95-inches 120Hz display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels resolution. It also supports a wireless keyboard as well as a pen too but you have to buy both of these accessories from Xiaomi separately.

Because of the larger display, it’s a good option to watch movies or even TV shows, and also those four speakers help a lot.

The speaker quality is also great, you will love the sound. The tab also has 13MP rear and 8MP front cameras but the camera quality is not that great. They’re usable, so take it as it is.

Overall, it’s a great tablet for media consumption as well as gaming too. By the way, Xiaomi Tab 5 is priced at Rs 26999 for 6GB of Ram and 128GB of storage which is a great price for what Xiaomi is offering.

In short, this should be your first choice, if your budget is Rs 30000.

Apple iPad 9th Generation

Whenever we talk about tablets, we have to talk about iPads because Apple makes some of the best tablets in the world.

iPad 9th Generation comes with a 10.2-inches Retina display, and its square panel which is not the best for media consumption, also, most Apple tablets have a square design.

You will also see the huge top and bottom bezels which don’t look good. By the way, you will be able to use an Apple pencil and keyboard but you have to buy them separately from Apple.

Under the hood, it has an A13 Bionic chip and runs on the latest iOS 15 and it will get the iOS 16 too.

It also has 8MP rear and 12MP front cameras, and the cameras are not that great, so expect much here.

The 64GB variant is priced at Rs 29999 and if you have more storage then you will have to pay more money. If you’re gonna pay more then you better go with the iPad Air M1.

Overall, I don’t recommend buying the iPad 9th Generation because it has an outdated design and you have to pay more to get more storage. Also, we have the Xiaomi Pad 5, so you will be able to play all kinds of games without any problem.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite

ProcessorExynos 9611 processor

RAM & Storage4GB RAM + 64GB Storage

If you’re a fan of Samsung then you won’t get a better tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is powered by Exynos 9611 processor and this is Samsung’s Flagship while it runs on OneUI 2.1 based on Android 10.

The Exynos 9611 is a powerful processor, there won’t be any kind of problem while playing games like BGMI or even COD Mobiles.

On the rear, it has an 8MP sensor while there is a 5MP selfie shooter on the front. Also, just like every single budget tablet, the camera quality is not up to the mark.

As this is a Samsung tablet you’re paying a premium but you’re also getting a Samsung logo. By the way, I don’t buy any product by the brand logo, I see the value and that’s it.

The tablet comes with a 10.40-inches 60hz TFT display with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels while Samsung has included an Ergonomic S-Pen in the box.

Under the hood, it has a 7,040mAh battery which will last for a day but if you’re a heavy user then get ready to charge Galaxy Tab S6 Lite twice a day.

Overall, the tab is overpriced but that was expected from Samsung, so if you’re a Xiaomi brand then I would recommend you to consider the Xiaomi Pad 5 but if you wanted a Samsung tablet then what can I say, go with Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

Coming to cameras, it has an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera while there is a 7,000 mAh battery and it will last for 10 hours.

As this is a Chromebook, you will get 100GB of Google Drive storage free for a year and a free keyboard+cover case.

By the way, this is not built for gaming, so don’t buy it for gaming but if you want a tablet for browsing, taking notes, PowerPoint work, zoom calls, and office work then this is the best tablet.

It runs Chrome OS which means it has a play store, so you will be able to download all the Android apps on this tablet.

The MediaTek Helio P60T is not a powerful processor but because it runs on ChromeOS, there is no need for a powerful processor.

Overall, if you’re that person who doesn’t play games and just wanted a tablet for office work then this could be a good option. Again, this is not for everyone because it runs on ChromeOS.

RealMe Tab 3

The RealMe tab 3 is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 Processor and runs on RealMe UI 2.0 based on Android 11. It also has a 10.50-inches display with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels.

Now, the MediaTek Helio G80 is not a powerful processor but you won’t face any problems in day-to-day life. Let’s you want to watch movies, TV shows, or even write something on Google Docs. the tablet will give you the best possible results.

The display is also bright, so there won’t be any issues while using the tab outdoors.

It also has stereo speakers which are great, the audio quality is also good. There are also 8MP rear cameras and 8MP front cameras.

The cameras are not that great but again, this is a budget tablet, so can’t complain much.

RealMe has also added a 7100mAh battery with 18W charging support. Expect the battery life to be around 2-days but if you use the tab all the time then you will have to charge it every day.

Under the hood, it has 3GB of Ram and 32GB internal storage which you can expand up to 1TB via micro-SD card.

This is Wifi version but if you want the LTE version then you will have to pay more.

So yes, if your requirement is media consumption then just go with RealMe Tab 3, you will be more than happy with its display, speakers, design, and even performance too.

Now, if you want a tablet for media consumption as well as for heavy gaming then there is no better option than Xiaomi Tab 5.

Verdict

I think you already know the answer, as of now, there is no better option than the Xiaomi Tab 5 under Rs 30000 in India, it checks all the boxes, and it’s also available at a good price too.

Still, if you have any kind of questions then do let me know in the comment I would love to help you, see you there.
